Payback plots were spoiled for both Twisted Minds and TNC Pro Team as Aurora Gaming and ONIC PH swept their respective series last night.
RORA’s Jan Dominic IV “Domengkite” del Mundo dominated yet again on his Granger, alongside his roam Renejay “Renejay” Barcars, who was the first player to debut the latest hero released, Kalea, on MPL PH stage.
TWIS decided to shake things up in the gold lane, as they decided to debut Jamaloding “Jamal” Dimati this week. However, despite the surprises laid out by TWIS in the early game, they weren’t able to hold onto their leads until RORA saw their chances and capitalized on them to finally get the series win and remain undefeated this season.
On the other hand, The Gold Standard proved he was ready for Bagyong Benny, as Kelra and ONIC PH prevailed over the Bennyqt-revamped TNC Pro Team.
Dying only once the entire series, Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas seemed to regain his killer instincts, as he shot down the hopes of TNC. It was a story of drafts for ONIC in Game 1, as they were able to counter the Hanzo pick from TNC and dictate the pace for the whole game.
But it became a game for the classics in Game 2, as TNC’s very own raging storm, Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales managed to achieve his first Savage in only his second series this season.
However, ONIC managed to hold on to their momentum, sweeping away the win from TNC.
“Makikita rin naman siguro sa results saka sa gameplay niya na, ready na siya. Siguro may mga error lang, or tulad nung Game 1 (na) pangit yung draft namin kaya natalo.”, Coach Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe on how ready Bennyqt is with the team.
“Pero kung papanoorin, sobrang ganda ng performance niya.”, he added.
For Kelra who enjoyed today’s matchup, he was all praises for Bennyqt as well.
“Kung paano siya maglaro dati, parang ganun pa din ang laro niya. Hindi siya humina, mas nag-improve pa nga yung laro niya ngayon.
