Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. and partners play in support of  communities at the 2024 Coca-Cola Golf Classic

Reinforcing the value of meaningful partnerships, Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) and Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. (CCFPI), together with valued stakeholders, have again come together to bolster support for community-focused projects through the 2024 Coca-Cola Golf Classic tournament.

This milestone iteration of the annual event, held at the Sta. Elena Golf & Country Club, underscores the shared commitment of Coca-Cola and its partners—over 180 key customers, suppliers, and industry leaders—to building stronger communities across the country.

The annual Golf Classic is on its fourth run this year since its return in 2019. Filipina professional golfers Bianca Pagdanganan, an Olympic athlete and two-time representative of the Philippines in the Tokyo Olympics, and Sam Bruce, the first Filipina nominated for the US NCAA Woman of the Year Award, also graced the event as special guests.

“At CCBPI, we believe we are only as strong as the communities we serve—a belief shared by all our partners. Every year at the Coca-Cola Golf Classic, we come together to enjoy the eventful day and witness the significant impact of our collective efforts in refreshing the Philippines and making a difference.

“We thank our partners and sponsors, who enable us to continue uplifting the lives of Filipinos through initiatives geared towards impactful community support,” shared Gareth McGeown, CEO and President of CCBPI.

In the past year, the amount raised supported disaster response initiatives, including relief efforts following the multiple typhoons that recently hit the country. Last year’s efforts also strengthened the continued partnership between CCBPI, the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. and AHA Learning Center—an internationally recognized non-profit organization committed to nurturing high-potential public school students and shaping future Filipino role models.

Pledges from the 2024 tournament’s partners are set to sustain Coca-Cola’s partnership with AHA Learning Center, as well as support an even more expanded set of programs, upholding the company’s commitment to foster long-term community well-being.

This year’s tournament concluded with an exciting finish, with Romeo Castro Jr., Mario Rafael Mañaol, Josef Andrew Mendoza, and Raymundo Juanchoe emerging as the overall team champion, with a winning gross score of 59.
