It’s safe to say that Jean Claude “The Dynamite” Saclag is still on cloud nine after his electrifying performance at ONE Friday Fights 78 last Friday.

The Filipino dynamo made a statement in his promotional debut, delivering a show-stopping finish under the bright lights of the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

There, he dismantled South Korea’s Lee “Bad Guy” Jun Young with a flurry of devastating strikes that ended the bout in just 1:34 of the first round.

For the 27-year-old, the victory feels almost surreal.

“I still have to pinch myself. It was everything I worked for, but when it actually happened, it felt like a dream come true,” Saclag said.

The odds seemed stacked against him, with many believing that the experienced South Korean would provide a tough challenge.

However, Saclag flipped the script. From the opening bell, he came out guns blazing, throwing a barrage of punishing blows that immediately put Lee on the defensive.

The turning point came when the Team Lakay and Samahang Kickboxing ng Pilipinas representative landed a crushing overhand right that sent Lee crashing to the canvas.

Although Lee valiantly tried to recover, Saclag showed no mercy, following up with a vicious combination of punches that left his opponent reeling.

As Lee tumbled and dropped to the floor, Saclag capitalized, raining down a series of strikes until the referee had no choice but to step in and stop the contest.

“The Dynamite” was thrilled with how things played out.

“I knew I had to make a statement, and I’m glad I did. This is the level I’ve always wanted to perform at, and now I’m here,” he stated.

This emphatic win has set Saclag on the fast track toward bigger opportunities.

Another impressive outing could put him in contention for a $100,000 contract and a coveted spot on the main roster.

For Saclag, that’s the ultimate goal.

“The win was huge, but I know I can do even more. My sights are set on making it to the main roster and showing the world what I’m capable of,” he declared.
