Bianca de Vera’s career continues on a steady track, placing her in a position many young showbiz talents can only hope to reach.
At 23, she has built a solid and growing fan base, with back-to-back projects and endorsement deals coming in almost simultaneously, all while doing what she enjoys most: entertaining audiences through her work as an actress.
Bianca capped the year as one of the highlights of the final Spotlight press conference of Star Magic. During the online session, she shared updates and stories that showed the steady momentum of her career.
Even before her stint in Pinoy Big Brother Collab, Bianca had already built a body of work across varied roles. That foundation now leads to one of her biggest turns to date as the lead in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry Love You So Bad.
“Hindi ko naman ineexpect na magkakaroon ako ng ganito karaming blessings, which I’m very very grateful for. Yung buhay ko ngayon, if I compare it from before, ito yung mga moments na pinagdarasal ko lang noon,” she said.
Love You So Bad is a co-production between Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment. Bianca stars as Savannah, a young woman navigating a complicated love story as she finds herself torn between two very different suitors, played by Will Ashley and Dustin Yu.
Talking about the filming experience, Bianca described the project as emotionally demanding but rewarding.
“It was really a journey. It was really a rollercoaster for the three of us. In this project, I had the privilege to get to know them from scratch again. I got to see them in a different light, which is such a blessing for me,” she shared.
Apart from the MMFF film, Bianca is also set to reunite with her former PBB housemates in the mystery-family drama The Secrets of Hotel 88, a collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA.
“I used to dream of becoming a Star Cinema leading lady, and now I get the chance to be one,” she said, looking back on her journey in show business.
