Mandopop singer Chen Linong has released a new collaboration with Filipino band Lola Amour, a ballad titled “With You” produced by South Korean hitmaker Hyuk Shin.
The single, unveiled Friday by Warner Music, combines Chen’s delicate vocals with the textured tones of Lola Amour frontman Pio Dumayas. Built on an acoustic arrangement with rain samples and guitar melodies, the track explores love and longing through the metaphor of an unwritten letter to a former partner.
Chen, one of China’s most-streamed young artists, continues to expand his international reach with the project. Lola Amour, which rose to prominence in 2023 with “Raining in Manila,” has since won major honors at the Awit Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Hyuk Shin, known for his work with Justin Bieber, EXO, and NCT, brought his production style to the release. The producer was the first Korean to break into the Billboard Hot 100 and has been behind several K-pop hits.
“With You” is now streaming on major platforms worldwide.
