The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines has announced the lineup for the upcoming Korean Film Festival 2024. The featured films include Smugglers(2023), Love Reset (2023), Inseparable Bros (2019), and Our Season (2023).
Director Ryoo Seung-wan’s action crime film Smugglerstells the story of two women caught in a smuggling scheme, while Nam Dae-joong’s romantic comedy Love Reset follows a married couple who, on the verge of divorce, both suffer amnesia after an accident and fall in love again as their families try to finalize the divorce.
Director Yook Sang-Hyo’s Inseparable Bros centers on the bond between Se-Ha, who is wheelchair-bound, and Dong-Goo, an athletic but mentally challenged man, as they navigate life together. His fantasy drama Our Seasonexplores the miraculous reunion of a mother and daughter, with the mother returning from heaven for a three-day vacation.
Themed “Chingu Kita,” the Korean Film Festival 2024 is part of the 75th-anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Philippines.
