After going viral for their kissing scene in the Senior High the endearing boys’ love pairing of Zaijian Jaranilla and Miggy Jimenez, more fondly called TimPoch, shared that they are grateful for the positive feedback from viewers.
The young Kapamilya actors shared how the evolving love story of Tim (Zaijian) and Poch (Miggy) is contributing to positive awareness among viewers regarding developing feelings for someone of the same sex.
“It’s heartwarming because people liked and embraced it. When we have scenes together, we often discuss how far we can go. Our communication is essential because the scenes we do are not taken lightly,” shared Zaijian in an interview during the Forever Grateful: ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2023.
Zaijian also acknowledged his directors for helping him portray Tim, allowing viewers to connect with a character struggling to come to terms with his sexual identity.
Miggy echoed similar sentiments, stating that his sweet moments with Zaijian’s character came across very naturally on-screen.
“It’s overwhelming, but at the same time, I don’t want to let it get to my head. I don’t want to ruin the chemistry we have. We didn’t even plan it at all, so I want to treasure it. I have to be grateful,” he said.
