Fan’s rough grab almost sends Cup of Joe’s frontman falling off stage during Balamban Festival concert

Fans of pop alternative band Cup of Joe found themselves fuming at the video of an attendee’s interaction with frontman Gian Bernadino during the festival concert for the Balamban Dance Festival in Santiago, Isabela on May 5.

In the screen recording of the concert’s live stream shared on X, Bernardino was in the middle of singing their hit song “Patutunguhan” when he reached out to touch the hands of those in the audience.

While it was only meant to be a quick interaction, a fan grabbed hold of the vocalist’s wrist and pulled him towards the crowd, causing him to momentarily lose his balance and almost fall off the stage if not for one of the show’s staff members helping him get back to his feet.

Fans were quick to express their anger over the incident, with some noting that concert organizers had reminded attendees not to pull any of the members into the crowd before the band’s performance.

As some fans noted that this was not the first time this has happened to the band, many called for stricter policies for the band’s performances in the future to avoid similar incidents from happening again.

Cup of Joe consists of Bernadino, Raphael Ridao, CJ Fernandez, Raphael Severino, Elian Akia, Gabriel Fernandez, and Xen Gareza.
