American singer-songwriter Beyoncé has announced the upcoming release of her newest album through a commercial during the Super Bowl LVIII.

The commercial involved Beyonce’s collaboration with Telecommunications Conglomerate Verizon before announcing the upcoming release of the new album. The announcement was followed by the release of two lead singles, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ‘16 Carriages.’

The album, ‘Renaissance: Act II,’ is set to be the second act of the ‘Renaissance Trilogy’, a three-part album with the first part, ‘Renaissance,’ being released on July 29, 2022.

Beyonce has notably received recognition for the initial release of ‘Renaissance’, with her seventh studio album debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
