Miss Universe 2015 and fashion icon Pia Wurtzbach will grace the Red Sea Film Festival 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Red Sea Film Foundation, a non-profit cultural organization that organizes the festival, announced Wurtzbach’s attendance on its social media pages. The foundation described her as a Dubai-based Filipina-German television personality and highlighted her work in TV shows, films, and her travel series Pia’s Postcards.
Wurtzbach will join international figures such as Hollywood actress Emily Blunt, South Korean actor Park Sung Hoon, Thai actor Vachirawit “Bright” Chivaaree, and award-winning actor Andrew Garfield, among others.
The Red Sea Film Festival celebrates emerging talents from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, and the Global South as part of efforts to revive Saudi cinema. The 2024 edition runs from Dec. 5 to 14.
