Actress Andrea Brillantes had her unique way of celebrating an anniversary—a year of being single.
June 12 was not just a commemoration of Philippine Independence Day for Andrea but also a celebration of without having a romantic partner.
In a post on Wednesday, the actress shared a series of cake photos on her Instagram Stories, most likely a gift from her supportive friends, Bea Borres and Danica Ontengco.
“Congratulations! You’ve made it through an entire year, which is 365 days, without a boyfriend. [Good] job!” it wrote.
Another cake had the words “Happy Singlesarry 6.12”.
She then jokingly told her friends to hold off on the cakes as it’s not her birthday.
June of last year, news broke that Andrea had split with basketball player Ricci Rivero on which the athlete addressed the rumors at the time, confirming the breakup but also denying any cheating accusations.
As of now, Andrea has been focusing on her acting career, taking the lead role in the new series “High Street”, a sequel of her hit drama “Senior High”.
