Liza Soberano makes heads turn in Ho Chi Minh City filmfest

Actress Liza Soberano continues to make her mark in the international entertainment scene as she walked the red carpet of the inaugural Ho Chi Minh CIty International Film Festival (HIFF) in Vietnam.

Dressed in a stunning black gown by fashion designer Anthony Ramirez and accessorized with luxury jewelry from Tiffany & Co, the 26-year-old star attended the film festival as the sole female juror for the “First or Second Film” category. She was also invited to present the award for Best Actress.

Liza shared her excitement on social media about the opportunity to grace the inaugural event.

“So thrilled and honored to have served as a jury member for the first-ever Ho Chi Minh International Film Festival,” she said. “Was such an amazing showcase of talented filmmakers from all over the world! Truly so inspired to continue working in an industry that encourages freedom of expression and challenges the way we think. Congratulations to all winners.”

Following her Hollywood debut as the loveable Taffy in the film Lisa Frankenstein, Liza has been a red carpet regular, stunning audiences at events like the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party.

The first Ho Chi Minh City International Film Festival was held from April 6 to 13.
