GMA Network solidifies digital dominance in 2024

GMA Network has strengthened its digital leadership in 2024, with a significant surge in online video viewership and impressive website traffic rankings, according to data from Tubular Labs and Similar Web.

From January to November 2024, Tubular Labs data shows that GMA Network recorded over 40 billion video views across all creator properties on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok by Nov. 30, surpassing ABS-CBN’s 34.3 billion views during the same period.

In November alone, GMA garnered almost 4.5 billion video views across platforms, with over 1.6 billion views on Facebook, more than 2 billion on TikTok, and 774 million on YouTube. In comparison, the network had 4.3 billion video views in October.

This growth highlights GMA Network’s commitment to producing engaging online content that resonates with its audience. The network also retained its 19th position on the Tubular Leaderboard Worldwide Rankings in the Entertainment and Media category and remains the highest-ranking Southeast Asian media company.

Additionally, data from Similar Web reveals that GMANetwork.com led in website traffic from January to November 2024, with over 249 million page views. In November, it ranked as the No. 1 Local News and Media Publisher in the Similar Web Top Websites’ country ranking, surpassing other major publishers in unique visitors and pageviews. GMA also improved its position in the national ranking, moving up from 93rd to 87th place in the Philippines.

Social media emerged as the top source of traffic for GMA News Online and GMA Entertainment from June 1 to Dec. 15.
