Award-winning filmmaker Zig Dulay has been named one of the recipients of the prestigious 2024 The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awards, in recognition of his contributions to arts and culture through film and television.
During the announcement ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 15, Dulay was honored for his creative achievements, including the award-winning film Firefly and the critically acclaimed historical fantasy series “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”
In a social media post, Dulay expressed gratitude and reflected on the deeper meaning of the recognition.
The filmmaker also emphasized the collaborative nature of his craft, crediting those who supported him along the way.
