Farmer’s daughter crowned Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN 2024

Vevherly Gador, a 35-year-old single mother working on a cruise ship in the Middle East, was named Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN 2024 during the coronation night held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City on Sunday.

Gador, a farmer’s daughter from Alcantara, Cebu, holds a degree in Criminology and previously worked as a civil aviation security inspector at Manila International Airport. She was also a contestant on GMA-7’s Survivor Philippines in 2008. Gador will represent the Philippines in the Mrs. Universe 2024 pageant in South Korea this October.

Other major winners included Marie Claire Briones (Mrs. Universe PH North Pacific Asia), Joy Orta (Mrs. Universe PH Northeast Asia), Jimymah Coching (Mrs. Universe PH West Pacific Asia), and Malou Panlaqui (Mrs. Universe PH South Central Asia).

Additional titles awarded were Mrs. Universe PH United Nation (Giselle Raymus), Mrs. Universe United Nation Continental (Graciel Santos Suarez), Mrs. Worldwide Philippines (Cachet Oaman), Mrs. Universe PH Asia Pacific Worldwide (Christine Serato), and Mrs. Universe PH Southeast Asia Worldwide (Catherine Muguerz). 

Jes-Lin Santos and Marilou Rosete were named Mrs. Universe PH Worldwide First and Second Runners-up, respectively.

New Zealand’s Riley Roebuck wins Miss Teen Tourism Universe 2024

The five winners of the 5th Miss Teen Tourism 2024

The 5th Miss Teen Tourism 2024, successfully hosted by the province of Cavite, crowned its five winners during the Grand Coronation Night held at the Summit Ridge Hotel in Tagaytay City on Saturday.

Riley Roebuck of New Zealand was crowned Miss Teen Tourism Universe 2024. Roebuck, Miss Teen Icon New Zealand 2024 and Miss Teen Supermodel New Zealand 2024, is an advocate for Irlen Syndrome Awareness, a condition she suffers from, also known as Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome (SSS) or Visual Stress. It is a perceptual processing disorder that affects the brain’s ability to process visual information due to light sensitivity.

Louzana Isha Ebrahim of the United Arab Emirates (FIL COM UAE), Founder of @em.powerbranding, won Miss Teen Tourism World 2024, while Samantha Batarao of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (FIL COM KSA), a Filipina based in KSA, was named Miss Teen Tourism International 2024.

Arshdeep Kaur of India, a 12th-grade student at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, was named Miss Teen Tourism Earth 2024, and Natalia Checa of Spain, a model and Miss Globe Barcelona 2023, was named Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2024.

The panel of judges included beauty queens and philanthropists Dr. Riza Oben Dormiendo, Dr. Faye Tangonan, Patricia Javier, and Daisy Reyes.
