Filipina-Canadian singer-songwriter Zachary delves into the complexities of romance in her debut album, luvin u, featuring eight self-penned tracks.

The album showcases a mix of R&B, pop, and acoustic sounds, each track representing a different stage of love. Notable songs include “luvin u,” “Pangako,” “huling sayaw,” and “Paalam.”

The standout track, “toxic,” highlights the struggles of staying in a harmful relationship despite its negative impact. “It’s about when holding on feels safer than letting go. This song is dedicated to those red flags,” Zachary, a Star Music artist, said in a TikTok post.

Zachary first gained attention in 2022 with her debut single, “dahan dahan,” a groovy R&B track that introduced her sultry sound. She has since released singles like “RBND” and “Bakit?,” with the former garnering 220,000 streams on Spotify.

Influenced by her musically inclined parents, Zachary channels her emotions into her songwriting and performances. With her captivating voice and relatable storytelling, she is emerging as a promising OPM artist.

Zachary’s debut album is available on major streaming platforms.
