Through social media posts, Julie Anne San Jose has been teasing fans with glimpses of one of the year’s most exciting local music collaborations by sharing photos of herself with SB19’s main vocalist, Stell. The P-pop superstar, in turn, fueled the excitement by posting his own photos with Julie and officially announcing their concert during the launch of his solo single, “Room,” on Friday.
As expected, the reaction from fans was pure excitement and anticipation.
GMA Synergy, in partnership with GMA Entertainment Group and 1Z Entertainment, officially announced the concert yesterday. Titled “JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig,” this two-night event will be directed by Paolo Valenciano and is set to take place on July 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. at the New Frontier Theater.
The announcement, as expected, made fans thrilled. They have been hoping for a collab between the two since seeing them in The Voice Generations together. Their fun interactions, surprise duets, and great performances have made fans love them, making this concert a dream come true.
Recognized as two of the greatest voices of their generation, Julie and Stell are set to showcase their range and versatility in this highly anticipated concert. In an interview, they shared a sneak peek of what to expect from JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig.
“We chose Ang Ating Tinig because Stell and I are very excited to share our voices together. More importantly, for these two special nights, we will sing the songs that have given voice to our stories,” Julie said.
“We want to showcase our strengths, so you might have an idea of what our performances will be like. At the same time, we’re excited to try something new and surprise our audience with some unexpected elements,” Stell added.
