Federal Land NRE Global, Inc. (FNG) marked a significant milestone with the official groundbreaking of The Observatory, a mixed-use development set to redefine urban living in Metro Manila.

Spanning 4.5 hectares in Mandaluyong City, The Observatory represents a collaborative effort between Federal Land, Inc. and Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd., operating under the unified banner of FNG.

“At The Observatory, we envision more than just a development; we see a nest where urban lifestyles converge to nurture a thriving community. With its retail podium, eight residential towers, and an office building, The Observatory will not only redefine the Mandaluyong skyline but also set a new standard for contemporary urban culture,: FNG vice chairman Yusuke Hirano

The flagship residential tower, Sora Tower, is slated for completion by 2030. Sora, which means “sky” in Japanese, offers a range of unit types from cozy studios to spacious three-bedroom residences and penthouses, catering to diverse lifestyle needs and ensuring there’s an ideal space for every resident.

The Observatory boasts strategic connectivity to major business districts such as Makati, BGC, and Ortigas via arterial routes like EDSA and the BGC-Ortigas Link Bridge. Its prime location ensures residents have convenient access to essential amenities within a 5-kilometer radius, including medical facilities, schools, recreational venues, shopping malls, and corporate headquarters.

Incorporating elements inspired by the Philippine national bird, The Observatory’s design underscores a commitment to sustainability and community-centric living.

Renowned design firms such as Nikken Sekkei Ltd., Garde Co., Ltd., Magnusson Klemencic Associates, and Pimentel, Rodriguez, Simbulan & Partners have contributed their expertise to shape its architectural identity.

The Observatory distinguishes itself through its seamless fusion of Japanese efficiency and modern urban lifestyle.

Each residential tower reflects the essence of Japanese urban culture, with amenities reminiscent of Tokyo’s vibrant districts and user-friendly features designed to enhance residents’ comfort and convenience.
