“The US has completed its fuel depot in Cebu that may someday be attacked by retaliatory missiles from North Korea, Russia and China if war breaks out”
THE imminence of a new world war intensifies as the US and its allies enter the economic-financial crash unfolding before our eyes these past few days.
Tokyo stocks plunged 12.4 percent Monday last on what Al Jazeera headlined “… over US economy fears” while across the ocean in the US, the Nasdaq lost almost $ 1-trillion in value. China bucked the global wave as Chinese consumers powered the Chinese economy.
There are ample reasons to believe the US is indeed ramping up for World War III, but it won’t start with a Big Bang.
It starts with one proxy war, then two, then more and the world is then engulfed eventually in a global war to decide this time, once and for all, if the capitalist system will survive the challenge of socialism, unique to this time and era expanding on a global scale in the Multi-Polar or what some call Poly-Centric, a global system of distributed financial power.
The US led the Collective West to open the Ukraine proxy war but failed to neutralize Russia as a first step to going full force into its “Pivot to Asia,” and then the US stumbled with Israel in West Asia from the unexpected Oct 7, 2023 Hamas raid into Israel taking hostages and dragging Israel into exposing its genocidal animal spirit and unmasked US moral superiority in its support for the genocidal state.
These left the “Pivot to Asia” with a faltering Taiwan and Philippine proxy war preps faltering.
The US- Taiwan proxy war strategy weakened as the independence party DPP lost control of the island province’s parliament, while the Philippine proxy war strategy met with great domestic opposition and the Great Wall of China’s vast maritime fleet and diplomatic strategy that isolated the Philippines from the ASEAN and the rest of the Global Majority.
All the US can do now is bide its time playing war games with “allies” with naval and military “joint” drills.
The US has lost its proxy war in Ukraine, now they’re testing Israel versus Iran.
The indicator the US helped plot the Hamas political leader Ishmael Haniyeh’s assassination is the speed with which the US 12 warships fleet were dispatched to the Persian Gulf to defend Israel from possible Iran and its allies’ retaliation.
Russia sent to Iran its Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, with unprecedented plane loads of advanced air defense and electronic warfare equipment.
Russia is also reported by reliable sources, including experts on social media like British diplomat married to a Russian and founder of Beirut-based Conflict Forum, Alastaire Crooke, among others, to be supplying Yemen’s Houthis with hypersonic missiles capable of sinking US aircraft carriers.
The powers-that-be in the US are wishing for that world war fervently, but a US Second Civil War, Deep State vs. the People and Trump, may erupt before they can even complete preparations.
In the Philippines, despite the 2nd de-escalation the Department of Foreign Affairs, seems to be sustaining effectively amidst US and their proxies’ pressure, the danger of war still hangs like a Sword of Damocles over the nation while the US EDCA Bases are in the country and Typhon missile launchers are still installed.
The Bases need to be taken out; they serve no other purpose but to endanger the country and isolate the Philippines from the ASEAN.
This is why the “No to US-BBM Proxy War” and “Anti-War, Anti-EDCA Bases” forum held in Cebu on Aug. 9 is a timely and powerful reminder to Visayans and all Filipinos the US is now in Mactan-Benito Abuen Air Base in Cebu.
It has completed its fuel depot there that may someday be attacked by retaliatory missiles from North Korea, Russia and China if war breaks out.
