Montemaria Miracle Walk, which is recognized as the first glass walk in the country, was inaugurated on Saturday evening in Batangas City.
The glass walk is part of the development being made in Montemaria, the site of the Mother of All Asia-Tower of Peace, the tallest statue of the Virgin Mary in the world.
Guoan Wu, president of Fluvion Real Estates Development Inc. assured the public that the new tourist destination will be made available to the public soon.
The company continues to plan other projects to further develop the area, boost the local tourism industry, and create more livelihoods for residents, particularly in Barangay Pagkilatan and neighboring communities. Pot Chavez
With a height of 45 meters and a length of 118 meters, the structure will give the best view of Batangas Bay. In 2023, the construction of the walkway began which is just part of a larger theme park.
Among the facilities that will be made available when completed includes water park, hotel and resort, miracle walk, galeria chapels, virtual aquarium, and cable car. The compound will also house Verde Island Passage Marine Biodiversity Center (VIP-MBC), a site dedicated for the protection, promotion, and preservation of the VIP, which is the “center of the center of the world’s marine biodiversity”.
