The Philippine National Police Region 11 reported that it has successfully served 76 warrants against its top-of-the-list individuals and managed to arrest 24 most wanted criminals in Davao Region in just a week of operation.
The Region 11 office headed by Acting Director Gen. Leon Victor Rosete in a media statement stated that aside from 24 most wanted individuals, they also arrested 46 other individuals wanted for various offenses in an operation from October 14 to October 18.
Among the individuals arrested was a certain Antonio Teves Ungab alias “Buboy,” and was considered by police as the top most wanted drug suspect followed by Louie Amodia Deloso, second most wanted for rape charges and Dennis Mendicor Magallanes, fourth most wanted for dangerous firearm and ammunition charges.
Meanwhile, the Davao City Police Office also conducted a drug operation on Thursday and arrested a top drug suspect in Davao City.
A certain alias “Brad” was nabbed during a drug bust operation and a substantial amount of suspected shabu was seized in his possession. The seized illegal drug was valued at P836,000.
Davao City Police is still investigating the incident and has yet to release a full report if the incident.
