The Philippine National Police (PNP) Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) personnel together with other law enforcement units successfully arrested two individuals and confiscated approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P 1 million during a buy-bust operation conducted around 7:00 PM last September 8, in Barangay Marawi Poblacion.
The arrested individuals include a 35-year-old male, married, jobless, and a resident of Brgy. Raya Saduc, Marawi City, and a 26-year-old male, single, jobless, and a resident of Brgy. Lilod Saduc, Marawi City.
Two other suspects remain at large and are currently the focus of a manhunt operation. The buy-bust operation was a joint effort led by personnel from the Marawi City Police Station and the City Drug Enforcement Unit.
They were supported by the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office, 1403rd Regional Mobile Force Battalion-14, 1402nd RMFB14, Regional Drugs Enforcement Unit-PROBAR, the Provincial Intelligence Unit LDSPPO, and Task Force Marawi of the Philippine Army.
