The Armed Forces of the Philippine (AFP) and Metrobank Foundation on Wednesday extolled three military personnel under the 2024 Metrobank Foundation for Outstanding Filipinos Award for Soldiers (MOFAS).
AFP deputy chief Lt. Gen Charlton Sean Gaerlan graced the occasion as guest of honor and speaker.
In his address, Gaerlan praised the three awardees for well-earned accomplishments as reaffired the AFP’s commitment to supporting the troops’ professional growth.
The 2024 MFOFAS awards were presented to Capt. Salvador Sambalilo of the Navy, Maj. Ron Villarosa of the Army, and SSgt. Michael Rayanon of the Marine Corps.
The event highlighted the AFP’s appreciation for the courage and dedication of the awardees, who exemplified the highest standards of service and have made significant contributions in both operational and community contexts.
