At least 850 residents from the first district of Bataan are bound to receive cash assistance from the government’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker (TUPAD) program.
The beneficiaries will receive P5,000 each for ten days of work in their respective communities, provincial board member Antonio Roman said.

During a recent orientation, Roman thanked Senator Christopher Go and Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez for providing the cash aids for his constituents.
He also thanked the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for its support.
TUPAD is a community-based initiative aimed at providing temporary employment to displaced workers.
