About 70,000 public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers will go through retraining from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
LTFRB Board Member Aileen Lizada says, this refresher course on basic driving will take place before the end of this month nationwide.

Drivers will be made to review their knowledge of road signs and safety procedures to prevent road accidents.
The course is made under the LTFRB’s new ‘Drivers’ Academy’ program and is meant to instill discipline among drivers who serve the riding public.
