SC issues landmark decision in Filipino

The Supreme Court (SC) announced on Thursday the issuance of a landmark decision in Filipino to broaden public to justice.

The ruling affirms the SC’s continuing commitment to make justice more understandable and responsive to the public.

It explained that judicial decisions affect not only the lawyers and judges, but also ordinary citizens and public institutions.

Further, the High Court noted that the use of the Filipino language helps reduce the distance between judicial doctrine and public understanding.
