This was seen as an important step in the development and standardization of indigenous languages in the province of Romblon.

Over the course of the three-day workshop, researchers guided participants in thoroughly identifying the native sounds of their respective dialects and developing orthographic rules suitable for systematic writing. The aim was to ensure clear, consistent, and contextualized guidance for the use of the Asì, Iní, and Onhán languages.
