A new batch of seven amnesty applications was granted by the President Marcos Jr., the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) said on Wednesday.
According to the NAC, the President approved the applications last Dec. 26 following the first batch of nine (approved in September 2025.

This brings the total number of approved amnesty applications to 16, consisting of 15 for former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines–New People’s Army–National Democratic Front (CPP–NPA–NDF) and one for a member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
The NAC recorded a total of 7,171 applications as of the end of the y, reflecting the growing interest in and trust of former insurgents in the government’s amnesty program.
