Court operations in some areas were suspended due to inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Tino, the Supreme Court announced on Wednesday.
Among those affected are the RTC of Coron, MCTC of Coron-Busuanga-Gaudencio E. Abordo, MTC Culion, all courts within the municipality of Taytay, Palawan, as well as MCTC of Cuyo-Agutaya-Magsaysay, Palawan.
In Cebu province, all courts in Carcar City and San Fernando, as well as those under the jurisdiction of RTC Barili and RTC Oslob, suspended their court operations. Also affected were Lapu-Lapu City Judicial Station, Talisay City, Hall of Justice in Cebu, RTC AND MTCC of Mandaue City, and MCTCS of Liloan-Compostela and Consolacion-Cordova
Likewise, affected courts in Negros Oriental include RTC Branches 64 and 102 and MTCC of Guihulngan City, MCTC of La Libertad–Vallehermoso, and MTCC of Canlaon City.
Meanwhile, all courts within the territorial jurisdiction of RTC Kalibo in Aklan and courts under the jurisdiction of RTC Branch 68, Dumangas, Iloilo have also suspended operations.
