The Philippine Army’s 8th Field Artillery Battalion’s 3rd Howitzer Platoon of Charlie Battery recently completed a comprehensive Fire Direction Center (FDC) and Gun Drill exercise at Matatal, Maimbung, Sulu.
The Battalion Commander personally assessed the training event, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peak readiness and proficiency within the unit.
During the exercise, the Commander observed the platoon, provided feedback, and reinforced the significance of continuous training and improvement.
“This exercise is crucial for maintaining our proficiency in delivering accurate and timely fire support. Your performance demonstrates commitment to our unit’s readiness,” stated the Battalion.
