In his farewell address, Col. Jalbuena expressed gratitude to his team, emphasizing the importance of unity.

Meanwhile, in his inaugural address, Col. Gotico thanked his mentors, distinguished guests, and the AAR leadership.

He acknowledged Col. Jalbuena’s contributions to maintaining high training standards and improving facilities, which played a crucial role in ATS earning its designation as a Center of Excellence by the Philippine Army’s Training and Doctrine Command in August 2022.

Col. Gotico also committed to aligning ATS’ training programs with the Army’s strategic vision, “Army 2040,” which aims to transform the Philippine Army into a world-class, multi-mission-ready, and cross-domain capable force.

He outlined plans to enhance training through the integration of modern artillery technology, simulation systems, and updated tactical doctrine, preparing artillerymen for complex, multi-domain operations.

Focusing on adaptability, integrity, and teamwork, he emphasized the development of principled leaders and resilient soldiers while strengthening partnerships with allied institutions and engaging in joint exercises to improve ATS’s operational capabilities.

The Change of Command ceremony was presided over by the Regiment Commander, BGen. Hubert Acierto.
