The Department of Education (DepEd) reaffirmed its partnerships with two private companies during a ceremonial signing on Monday, October 4, led by Education Secretary Sonny Angara who was joined by Petron Representative Cecille L. Ang and REX President Atty. Dominador Buhain.
Petron Corporation and Petron Foundation Inc. renewed their partnership, focusing on major advocacy programs such as the Tulong Aral ng Petron (TAP) Elementary and High School Assistance Program, Petron School, and Brigada Eskwela.
Meanwhile, Resources for Educators and Academic Professionals (REAP), under REX, is expected to provide professional development modules certified by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).
According to DepEd, these modules are designed to enhance learners’ professional skills, contribute to societal and national development, boost individual confidence, and improve overall performance, productivity, and morale.
