Mylah Roque not in the Philippines since early September

The Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday confirmed that Mylah Roque, wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, has left the country in early September this year.

Mrs. Roque is being sought by the House of Representatives Quad Committee, after she failed to respond to a subpoena from the panel.

Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval confirmed the departure of Mrs. Roque, who left the country on September 3—at least 13 days before a lookout bulletin was issued against her on September 16.

An ILBO is issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for prudence instructing immigration officers to double check if there are any pending arrest warrants against the subjects, any violation or infraction, or to monitor their itineraries and whereabouts should they attempt to leave the country.

Mr. Roque is still in the country, the BI said, adding there is no record that he left the country, based on the Bureau of Immigration’s departure list.

The manhunt operations against the Roques were made when he refused to comply with the House quad committee’s directive.
