The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and National University Philippines (NUP) formalized their partnership on Tuesday by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
This agreement establishes a collaborative relationship aimed at promoting mutual development programs that will benefit both the AFP and NUP communities.
This partnership opens doors to various opportunities, including scholarships, internships, job placements, and other benefits that support the personal and professional growth of AFP personnel, their families, and NUP students.
The MOA was signed by NUP President Dr. Renato Carlos Ermita Jr. and AFP Deputy Chief of Staff LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan.
“This agreement emphasizes the importance of education and ensures that the continuing education of our personnel, as well as the education of the dependents of our fallen and wounded personnel, are taken care of. Maraming salamat sa National University for making this possible,” said LtGen Gaerlan.
