Dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, known as Guo Hua Ping, was transferred to Pasig City Jail on Monday, September 23.
She had previously been held at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Quezon City for over two weeks.
Guo will reside in the female dormitory at the jail in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, sharing a cell with 40 other female detainees.
The former mayor faces a qualified human trafficking complaint filed by the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in June.
Guo fled the Philippines on July 18 despite an arrest order from the Senate regarding her non-attendance at hearings on illegal offshore gaming.
On September 5, a Tarlac Regional Trial Court issued another arrest warrant for her alleged violations of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
She was arrested by Indonesian authorities in Jakarta on September 4 and deported back to the Philippines two days later.
