AFP s spokesman Col. Xerxes Trinidad said representatives of the two armed forces  evaluated progress and achievements made since their previous talks.

The discussions centered on collaborative efforts and future priorities, sharing insights and strategies to navigate the region’s evolving security landscape.

Maritime security and freedom of navigation were highlighted as key areas of focus.
