The Philippine Air Force (PAF’s) Air Combat Command conducted an annual Subordinate Unit General Inspection (SUGI) in its Cavite and Tarlac Air Bases.

The inspections were led by Deputy Commander and Command Inspector General of ACC Brigadier General Romeo Dirilo alongside the Command Inspection Team.

The primary objective of SUGI is to determine the operational readiness and preparedness of subordinate units, ensuring they comply with established standards.

The 15th Strike Wing and 710th Special Operations Wing coordinated with the said activity.

A briefing was conducted before the actual inspection and contained a review of recent updates from the Office of the Air Force Inspector General (OAFIG) Inspection, an assessment of findings and actions from the PAF SMS ISA CY 2023, and a discussion of local SMS CY 2024 issues.

The briefing also addressed various unit-specific concerns.

Throughout the SUGI, dialogue sessions were conducted with Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resources from both the 15th Strike Wing and the 710TH Special Operations Wing.
