The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is on high alert and fully prepared for rapid deployment to assist communities devastated by Tropical Storm Enteng.

“As the storm continues to affect various regions, the PAF is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with other government agencies for potential rescue and relief operations,” Philippine Air Force Spokesperson Colonel Maria Consuelo Castillo said.

Air and ground assets, along with personnel, are on standby and ready to be deployed to the most affected areas.

PAF’s 505th Search and Rescue Groups were on alert status for the aftermath of the said typhoon.

Its swift response capabilities, PAF said, ensure that essential aid, including food, water, medical supplies, and evacuation support, can be delivered to those in need as quickly as possible.
