The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Monday logged over 10,000 examinees from its entrance examinations this year.
PMA Office of the Cadet Recruitment and Admissions (OCRA) Director Lieutenant Colonel Jose Lauro Antonio Ello told Manila Standard that the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE) leg in Visayas and Mindanao saw an increased volume of walk-in applicants compared to last year.
“We have yet to determine the count per region. We will release this data once all information are finalized,” he added.
The National Capital Region (NCR) and Region 4A and 4B leg of the said examination will run this weekend.
NCR testing sites include the Philippine Air Force Gymnasium in Pasay City and Camp Aguinaldo High School in Quezon City.
The Region 4A testing sites are located in Laguna Sports Complex and Fernando Air Base in Lipa City.
In Mimaropa, the venue of the examination is located in San Jose National High School in Occidental Mindoro and Camp Artemio Ricarte in Palawan.
The PMAEE will run until September 21-22, 2024.
