Learning Modalities

In-person learning remains the primary method, emphasizing the importance of real-time teacher-student interaction. Blended learning and full distance learning are still options, as per Department Order 44 series of 2022.

If in-person classes are suspended due to disasters or emergencies, schools will switch to blended learning mode. Teachers will provide home learning tasks tailored to students’ needs, along with learning modules and home learning plans.

Assessment Guidelines

Regular formative and summative assessments will be conducted throughout the year to monitor student progress. These include the following:

  • Early Childhood Development Checklist
  • Philippine Informal Reading Inventory Test
  • Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment
  • Rapid Math Assessment
  • National Learning Camp Assessment
  • Multifactored Assessment Tool

According to DepEd, private schools, state/local universities, and colleges may adopt these guidelines and must report any deviations to their respective regional offices.

These comprehensive guidelines ensure that the academic year runs smoothly while prioritizing the safety and learning needs of students and stakeholders.
