AirAsia Philippines is offering over 500,000 seats at P177 one-way base fare for immediate travel until December this year.
Travelers can book their international and domestic flights until July 28 to take advantage of this promotion dubbed “Rain or Shine, Let’s Fly & Go!”
AirAsia head of communications and public affairs Steve Dailisan said the airline is committed to maintaining the lowest airfares in today’s market year-round through its travel and lifestyle platform, AirAsia MOVE.
He mentioned that over the past three years, travelers have become accustomed to using digital platforms. Consequently, the AirAsia MOVE app has since promoted the airline’s monthly promos and reached millions worldwide.
In the Philippines alone, AirAsia Philippines saw a total of 1.10 million seats booked under various promos such as PISO Sale and the monthly double-digit sales from January to July 2024. Out of these, 340,000 bookings were from Gen Z category, 480,000 were from Millennials, and the remaining were from Gen X and Boomers.
“Millennials and Gen Z’s are tech-savvy, while Gen X and Boomers are tech-native. Technology always plays an important role in their decision making. 70 percent of online and over the App bookings for the first half of 2024 came from Millennials and Gen Z’s,” Dailisan said.
He emphasized the importance of sticking to their low fare business model, which focuses on streamlined, simple, and efficient business operations with high regard for passenger safety.
