AirAsia Philippines is advising its domestic and international flight passengers to complete their check-in via airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE App at least two days before departure on July 10, 2024.
AirAsia is expected to have a system upgrade from 7:00 PM of July 10 to 3:00 AM of July 11, which will affect all online transactions from bookings, check-in procedures, online kiosks, and bag drop at all AirAsia-operated airports.
Online services through the AirAsia MOVE app will be temporarily unavailable and guests will need to visit the check-in counters to secure their printed boarding passes.
AirAsia also urges travelers requiring medical or special assistance to arrive earlier than 7 p.m. to facilitate their needs.
In an earlier advisory, the airline reminded travelers to ensure that they have necessary medical certificates and other health documents if they are traveling with a pregnant or medically ill loved one.
“The system upgrade which includes the updating of its New Skies software is expected to fast track all online transactions (mobile app and on ground) from booking, payment, flight schedule modification, check-in and purchase of add-ons, providing guests with enhanced customer experience,” said AirAsia Head of Communications and Public Affairs Steve Dailisan.
Dailisan said their clients can also expect more add-on features with the AirAsia MOVE as a result of the system upgrade.
