An American passenger, George Anderson Bingham Jr., was rushed to Makati Medical Center after he collapsed at the immigration counter of Ninoy Aquino International Airport – Terminal 3 on Thursday.
The Manila International Airport Authority’s medical team responded promptly, providing first aid to Bingham, whose blood pressure and oxygen level had dropped.
The incident occurred after Bingham arrived onboard United Airlines flight UA-189 from San Francisco, USA.
United Airlines personnel and airport security assisted and accompanied the foreigner to the hospital.
The terminal management and the on-duty supervisor of the Border Control Intelligence Unit informed the Bureau of Immigration – Office of the Commissioner for the proper disposition and protocol involving foreign travelers.
