THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has announced the arrest of a drug dealer and the seizure of P2 million worth of illegal substances during a buy-bust operation in Pasay City.
A composite team of law enforcers carried out the arrest of Layoso Saturnino Jr., alias Noknok, on Sunday afternoon in Barangay 75, Zone 10, Pasay City.
The team consisted of elements from the Southern Police District – Drug Enforcement Unit, Special Operations, Intelligence Division, District Mobile Force Battalion, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Pasay City Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), and Police Sub-Station 3.
Seized from the suspect were 300 grams of shabu worth more than P2 million and the marked money used in the entrapment operation.
The evidence will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination as drug charges were being prepared against Saturnino.
