President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

I extend my heartfelt greetings to the Filipino people on this joyful Christmas Day.

Every 25th of December, we honor the birth of Christ by expressing gratitude for the boundless love that God has showered upon us through the time-honored Filipino traditions of Simbang Gabi, gift-giving, and feasts with our friends, relatives, and families.

But more than just a day of celebration, let us be reminded that the true meaning of Christmas lies in the recognition of the season as an opportunity to reach out to those who are suffering from solitude, sickness, and poverty.

Indeed, there is no better way for us to share the gift of Christmas than by spreading hope to those who need it the most this holiday season. Let us kindle our hearts with goodwill, kindness, and compassion as we spread merriment in our homes and communities. By doing so, we do not only bring peace, love, and unity, but become living instruments of the timeless adage that God’s work here on earth is truly our own.

Isang Maligayang Pasko sa ating lahat!

Vice President Sara Duterte

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year sa lahat!

Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri

House Speaker Martin Romualdez

Maligayang Pasko sa inyong lahat!

As we gather under the glow of Christmas lights and the warmth of our homes, I am filled with gratitude and joy to extend my heartfelt greetings to every Filipino family.

This festive season, let us cherish the precious gift of family. In every shared laugh, every shared meal, we weave stronger bonds that hold our families together. Let these moments remind us of the love and warmth that family brings into our lives, a love that is our truest treasure.

Christmas is also a time of giving, not just of material gifts, but of kindness and compassion. In every gift shared, a thread of hope is woven into the fabric of our community. Let us embrace the spirit of Bayanihan, reaching out to our neighbors, and spreading joy to those in need. In doing so, we light up the lives of others, just as the parols light up our skies.

As we celebrate this season, let’s remember:

Our greatest gifts are the moments we share, and the memories we create together. These are the gifts that truly embody the Filipino spirit.

May this Christmas be a time of joyous family reunions, selfless giving, and strengthened community bonds. Together, let’s carry this spirit of unity and love into the New Year!

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo

Something about Christmas somehow makes everything merrier: our smiles are brighter, our eyes kinder, and our hearts lighter.

We feast, we share, we laugh. We give gifts, attend festivities, and reunite with loved ones. At least for a moment, peace and goodwill abound.

But amid all the merriment and joys from the holidays, we risk losing sight of the message that matters most: the supreme act of service in offering one’s own Son to save humankind.

This singular event of Jesus’ birth changed the course of history, reminding us that change can come from the ordinary. And that each of us can be agents of change, with the power to alter the world around us through simple acts of kindness and compassion.

For this is the true meaning of Christmas: service, empathy, and sacrifice. And as we celebrate this season, may we take this message to heart, and allow it to inspire us not just on Christmas day but every day.

For us in the Judiciary, as the holiday season warrants reflection, we are similarly stirred to lead lives of service committed to fairness and empathy as guardians of the people’s rights, knowing that there can be no peace without justice.

We thus join the nation in celebration and in our common aspirations for justice and peace, guided by the timeless message of hope and renewal symbolized by the birth of Christ. Merry Christmas!
