Changan introduced the first-ever and only 7-seater crossover in the country—the Changan X7 Plus in September. Six months into the operations in the country, it debuted at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) and launched the CS15 model which boasts of value-for-money combination of sleek and functional style, and smart technology designed as response to the needs of the Filipino families.
In October, Changan joined the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) for the first time where it presented the All-New Hunter REEV, the world’s first range-extended electric pickup suitable for outdoor activities, giving a strong sense of presence and leaving a lasting positive impression on automotive enthusiasts.
EXPANSION OF FOOTPRINT IN PH

In January, Changan forged a successful partnership with Global Star Motors Corporation (GSMC), a premier dealer network organization in Cebu City, dedicated to bringing the best automotive brands to their local provincial market. This partnership gave birth to the opening of Changan dealerships in Cebu, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Dumaguete and Cagayan de Oro – expanding the brand’s horizons across GSMC’s network in key metro cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
In July, the brand also opened the doors of its flagship showroom in C5, Pasig City. This branch serves as the largest dealership in the country, allowing it to be of service to more Changan customers for sales and after-sales requirements.
On top of these remarkable milestones, Changan is committed to continuing its steadfast expansion in the country with the upcoming dealer inaugurations in Alabang and Davao in the next few months.
