Volkswagen Bonifacio Global City showroom on 28th Street launched on June 16 the Ilustrado Café & Lounge.
The concept was born from the business partnership between the two brands, Volkswagen and Ilustrado. V by Ilustrado Café and Lounge was established in January 2016 to cater initially to customers visiting the showroom.
The introduction of an “in-store” cafe and lounge inside an automobile showroom is not only meant to extend Ilustrado’s 27-year-old brand of cuisine to the clients of Volkswagen but also to enhance the overall customer showroom experience.
With V by Ilustrado, visitors will not only enjoy the ambiance of a VW showroom, in the company of world-class cars created with that distinct German craftsmanship and precision, but also indulge in the cafe’s Filipino-Spanish cuisine and select German specials in a brightly lit, modern yet casual lounge-style seating. Small group parties and events may be held. Store hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for Tuesdays to Thursdays, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm for Fridays to Saturdays, and 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for Sundays. The lounge closes later on Fridays and Saturdays to allow guests who may wish to unwind after a busy work week.
