The municipality of Victoria, Laguna, is now on the tourism map as we discovered a peaceful retreat for family and friends.
Chadivan Hideaway in Bgy Daniw is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Manila. The name of the property was derived from the owner’s children, Chad and Ivan. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the staff, and Miziel, the person in charge, gave us a brief orientation of the place.
Owned by Carlo and Ivy Logroño, the vacation home provides a serene and comfortable retreat for families and friends. It was built on an almost 1-hectare farm in the heart of Victoria, Laguna. The property faces vast green paddy fields and offers a majestic view of Mt. Banahaw. The lot is also full of fruit-bearing trees. The main house offers spacious accommodations and personalized support, with a focus on the Filipino brand of hospitality. By creating cherished moments, they aim to be your sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Their staff provides personalized service tailored to your needs, ensuring that every aspect of your stay is seamlessly taken care of, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your time. We were provided everything that we needed and even more. We loved the kesong puti, pandesal, and itlog na maalat that they prepared for us.
We also brought food to cook with the help of the staff. They are always ready to assist with food preparation and washing dishes. If guests need anything, a market is nearby. We were also able to harvest vegetables on the property for our meals, which was a very enjoyable experience for everyone.

Walking around the property in the early morning, we marveled at the breathtaking beauty of the scenic surroundings, which offer a picturesque backdrop for your family’s photo sessions.
The home
The house provides a tropical vibe with high ceilings and minimal decor featuring artwork and furniture made by locals, which is great for the tourism industry. The lot is large, with plenty of parking space available inside. Truly a private paradise. Wi-Fi signals are strong and perfect for catching up on work. A smart TV is also available for watching your favorite shows.
Guests can also avail of massage services to complete their quest for a more relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of Manila.

Guided nature tours are also available, allowing guests to discover the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes of Victoria. Embark on tranquil hiking trails and get familiar with the natural beauty in this lesser-known part of Laguna. Whether it be a peaceful solo trek or a bonding experience with loved ones, Victoria’s trails offer a rejuvenating escape for all.
We also managed to visit a nearby town that was celebrating its fiesta. It was great to just relax, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the culinary specialties of the area.
