Sunshine Place holds a six-session Watercolor Workshop for Beginners, led by artist Jen Consumido, every Tuesday until Oct. 1. The workshops will run from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The course is designed to introduce participants to watercolor as a fine art medium, focusing on familiarizing students with the essentials of watercolor painting and the materials needed to achieve quality results. The hands-on sessions will help beginners discover their creativity through practical learning.
Consumido, a self-taught artist with expertise across various mediums, has a particular passion for watercolor. He has honed his skills over the years through continuous exploration and experimentation, and he remains committed to promoting watercolor as a fine art medium through workshops and tutorials.
The workshop is open to participants aged seven and older. A starter kit, including a watercolor set, brushes, a drawing pencil, a kneadable eraser, a palette, and watercolor paper, will be available at the venue.
