Beauty brand celebrates milestone in glittering affair

Brilliant Skin Essentials celebrated a few important milestones with a grand event at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan on June 2. The event featured the launch of the brand’s latest product, Hello Melo Drink, the introduction of actress Kim Chiu as the newest brand endorser, and contract signings with its new partners.

To kick off the event, CEO Glenda dela Cruz delivered an inspiring opening speech, acknowledging the presence of her family, particularly her grandmother, who she credited as the driving force behind her success.

“I want to show her that all her hard work has paid off and that many people love her granddaughter, and many people love and patronize the brand,” she said in the vernacular.

Attendees were treated to several raffle prizes, including treatments from the Brilliant Medical Group, cash prizes, and some beauty and wellness products. The event also featured performances by actress Arci Muñoz and actor Paulo Avelino, who shared their positive experiences with the company. Actor Daniel Matsunaga also made a special appearance.

Arci expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much, Glenda, for inviting me to be part of your family, this wonderful group, and your empire. Brilliant Skin was the only one that helped with my acne problem.” Paulo added, “I didn’t know much, but when I went to Brilliant Medical Group, I said, ‘Doc, you take care of it.’ I have my favorites, like the hydrafacial, and a new laser they use to lighten skin pigments, which is very good since I am prone to acne.”

A highlight of the event was the launch of the Hello Melo Drink. Actress Kim Chiu took the stage to perform and was officially signed as the brand’s endorser.

She shared her excitement, “I am very excited about this collaboration. And of course, with more collagen, we will look younger because studies show that you lose 1 percent of collagen every year, which makes you look older, but with the help of Hello Melo, we will all look younger.”

Kim also participated in a Q&A session with the media, discussing her new role and the benefits of the company’s newest product.

“If you are happy with your life, it will reflect on your face, making you look bright, happy, and beautiful because you’re not stressing over unnecessary problems. So just live in the moment, just live. Do what makes you happy and what makes you beautiful,” she advised.

Nearly 1,200 attendees, including franchisees and distributors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, attended the star-studded affair.
